Sure, I'd expect many to say that. I'll give you the Jordon over Lebron(though i think Lebron has more potential) but are you sure about the Pippen over Wade? Wade got a serious jumper and already won a championship without the #1 man being there. |

As a team I would take them. Jordan and Pippen were an almost perfect combination..whereas Wade and LeBron are very similar in their playstyles and their offense seems stagnant at times. Wade might be a better overall player than Pippen, but if its 2vs2 Ill take MJ+Pippen everytime. |

How does Pippen and Jordon cover Lebron? In 2v2 one of them needs to keep Lebron from the paint no way if he's taken it to the room he doesn't get the basket or and one. lol Pippen is beast but he probably couldn't run with Wade the kid ain't called the flash for nothing. |

Pippen was a crazy good defender, and MJ was no scrub either. I could easily see them shutting them down. |

Do you know what Shut Down means? That's least keeping them under the avg let alone allowing them to break 30. Do you think Lebron and Wade are slouches they don't at LEAST slow down the duo? I can't any of the four being completely shut down. Yeah in a series they might have some off nights but in 7 you seriously think Lebron and Wade get blanketed? Sorry MJ and Pippen are not that good. |

Yeah, lebron has a lot of people to climb over, like Tracy mcgready, and grant hill, he hasnt even done what those guys have done let alone kobe or Jordan, tim duncan, david robinson, Gary Payton, lebron is like the new Shawn kemp, thats all. shawn kemp was a beast in his lebron days. So yeah, ill put lebron on Shawn Kemps level, because i recognize the real. But just like kemp, lebron has already proven he cant do it alone. Youre NEVER going to be able to build a team around lebron. |

No, you can't be serious? Lebron isn't better then Tracy Mcgrady? Okay.......that's HAS to be the most bs thing I've ever heard. LeBron is heads and shoulders above McGrady...you can't be hating on LeBron that much seriously he's on Kemp's level? wtf? |

i think its pretty clear you are just a lebron fan boy and dont have much to say about basketball. if you REALLY think lebron is better than guys like Kemp, mcgready and vince carter youre SUPER TRIPPING. A ring doesnt make him better than those guys. matter of fact THEY were superstars on their respective teams also. i dont remember mcgready OR carter losing to the cleveland cavs. They made it to the finals like everyone else. Unfortunately now its lebrons fault Miami has a ring. But last year it was his fault they didnt. Lebron doesnt make or break anything, he had a chance to have team built around him, and he chose to leave because he couldnt do it. So far only Kobe, jordan, duncan, robinson, carter, stockton, malone, drexler, and a few others have actually led teams effectively. Stockton and malone ALONE were the reason the Utah jazz could even keep up back then. lebron hasnt done ANY of that. so get off his nuts and let him play ball. he'll get his eyes shot out by steve nash ALL DAY LONG!! LOL @ thinking lebron doesnt play like shawn kemp used to. They even played as leaders for the same team. Edited by Paikuan extreme, Jun 23 2012, 04:39 PM.

I dont agree with that ninja. LeBron did carry the Cavs when he was with them. Look at who his supporting cast was, not very good. He single handedly carried the Cavs on his back in 07 to make it past the Pistons and into the NBA FInals. Do you forget how good of a game he had. He scored 25 points straight! 25! He just happened to run into the Spurs who rolled over his scrub team like they were nothing. I do think LeBron is better than T-Mac and Vince Carter. Yes they both were good when they were in their prime, but I think LeBron is above them easily. |

nah, i think hes over rated. and shawn kemp did the same thing when he played for the cavs also. in other words lebron hasnt proven anything, there are so many players better than him fundamentally its not even funny. thinking hes better than vince carter doesnt make sense. Vince would jump over him any day of the week. No way is lebron better than grant hill in his prime either. Sorry guys, lebron just hasnt done anything yet, there are players out there with more rigns than him that have done less. Scoring 45 points in a game is old news, since the 70's, its been done over and over. does he have potential? for sure, cant take that away. is he better than other players who have stats he doesnt? NO. and trust me, playing in cleveland made him look like a superstar, cause those guys were bums. All he did was replace shawn kemp. Same story, even the same circumstances. beast players who didnt graduate high school, drafted in early, and made a name for themselves. tmac wasnt all that, but so many people hyped him up too, Allen iverson WAS all that and he fell off. lebron ISNT all of that, he doesnt inspire people, once he becomes a better team player then he will impress me, we dont need another kobe in the league. |

To put it lightly, I was extremely angry that Miami won a championship. I am huge into all American sports and want to be a sportswriter one day, and have somewhat started. I have always criticized Lebron James for lacking clutch and such, but now it seems he has FINALLY proven me wrong. I also don't like when teams just buy 3 amazing players and assemble a big 3. Back in the day, the Bulls weren't bought like that, neither were the Lakers. Guess its over now though. Good for them. Wade has notched himself a definite Hall of Fame spot as well. |

I used to watch the NBA a lot when I was younger back when the Knicks had Patrick Ewing. I am just going to say this about the 90's bulls. It seems back in the day there were more competitive teams/players then there are now. All I hear about now are a few star players on a team winning a championship whereas back in the day I heard about many players on their respective teams and that's just me. All I hear about is Lebron James or Kobe Bryant. I don't think the NBA is as competitive as it was in the 90's because they're only some star players you hear about whereas the 90's you heard about many. Just look at Space Jam and all the stars in that movie. I know it's a bad reference, but can you honestly say any of the players today would be able to compete with any of the stars in the Space Jam movie. I highly doubt it.
